Every day tens of thousands of workers, managers and small hands flock from France to the Grand Duchy to work, attracted by the wages two or three times higher than the prosperous Luxembourg service sector. From Kirchberg to Thionville, from the working-class towns of Aumetz to the new housing estates of Tressange, this film accompanies border workers in their commuting life. There, in the heart of Europe, the evils of the economic and social crisis, managerial violence and the words of the fragile are revealed.
