ANAMOCOT

Directed by Marie Voignier

In the heart of the Cameroonian forest, Frenchman Michel Ballot has dedicated years to finding the legendary Mokélé-Mbembé, an animal still unrecognized by zoologists. He seeks the help of locals called the « initiates » who claim to communicate with the unseen world. Torn between the scientific evidence he longs for and the profound beliefs of these initiates, Michel’s journey unfolds alongside other influential figures—Hermine, a political activist, and Blaise, a remarkable tracker, each with their own unique insights.
